My family and I have already built an igloo with this tool. Now I only wish we had more of them so we could build faster. Obviously you need good, packable snow. Icy hard chunks, large icy grains (like gruss), and really dry, cold, fluffy powder don't pack well enough but that's true for snowballs, snowmen, and any other type of snow-construction.

I would think that would be a standard feature for an online product. I have seen several products of this type, some as cheap as $1.99, but they are quite small. It would take forever to build a fort with one which makes a block about the size of two bricks. This one costs enough that it may be larger, but there's no way to tell.

Really enjoyed this this winter with my family!! We made walls and built an igloo and built walls and made forts. It really held up. We bought the snow ball maker too. It works great!!!

My kids loved this. I bought this for them along with the snow ball maker. Living in Wisconsin they have had a lot of snow to use it on. It seems just as sturdy as the boys.
