Description
Phoenix, the bird from Egyptian sagas, is said to exist for 300 to 500 years. At the end of its life, it would build a nest, perch itself in it and burn. Only an egg would remain, from which a new Pheonix would eventually hatch. Measures 6.25" x 7.25" x 6.50".

I typed in "Webkinz Phoenix" and this product came up. The picture looked as if it might be soft and cuddly, so I ordered it. When it came, it was nothing like the picture. It was in a different pose and was made of hard plastic. IT IS NOT A WEBKINZ!! Amazon needs to move this product to a different heading. Because I lost my receipt, I am stuck with this thing that none of my grandchildren want to play with. By the way, Webkinz doesn't make a Phoenix. This product should have never come up when I typed in Webkinz phoenix. I am very dissatisfied.

I live in Australia and my little grandson wanted a phoenix I tried every where and in most sites it had been discontinued. When I found it on your site for less than $20 I bought it immediately not thinking of postage and insurance from the US! My bargain cost me more than $60 Aus! but my grandson was thrilled!

We have Schliech knights and elves. When this went on sale I purchased this to add to our castle theme. My kids were not familiar with the story of the phoenix and now tell every guest we have about how it rises from the ashes. It is definitely meant to be played with and I can tell after a few days in my 8 year old son's hands that this toy will look as good as new for years to come. A beautiful piece!

When it comes to durability Schleich figures are the best. This phoenix is solid, sturdy and beautiful. My grandchildren and their parents are big fantasy fans. This phoenix is just perfect for them. The children play with their Schleich toys and all Schleich figures can take the beating. Not one has broken over the years. For the collector, the phoenix is beautifully painted and regal in display. I highly recommend any Schleich figure. They may cost a bit more, but they last. It is virtually impossible to break them. They are more than worth the few extra dollars in cost. As always, the Super Saver Shipping deal at Amazon is the best. It's one of the main reasons why I shop at Amazon.

The picture does NOT due this justice, It looks much more lifelike in person. It is made to withstand any childs play. My grandkids just love these toys, make believe is so much better with Schleich.
